6th Month Reflections...

   This is what Sud is doing now...  

• Sud weighs 18lb 14oz (72%ile), Sud's height is 29in (95%ile), Sud's head circumference is in the 89%ile because of his big intelligent brain :) 
• Sud can turn and do a 1/2 circle on his belly.  
• No teeth yet
• Sud isn't quite babbling. He vocalizes in a high squeal singing voice.  
• Sud can sit unsupported for minutes at a time.

Sud loves his bath time. He will soon be starting swimming lessons!

A Day in the Life

We had a very fun day last Friday.  Sud and I visited with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Jim. Sud showed off his sitting skills, which very much impressed grandma. Auntie Ava and Great Grandma Puerta were also there.  Afterwards, we all took a lovely walk in the San Pedro marina.   Another wonderful day in the life of Little Sud Doss.

Grandma Kathy...

Words can't describe how much Little Sud loves his Grandma Kathy. Every time he hears her voice on the  speaker phone, he stops what he's doing to focus on her voice.  Every time she walks in the house and either starts singing or playing games with him, I instantly become old news. :)

  

5th Month Reflections

This is what Sud is doing now...  

• He started going to his Mommy & Me class.
• Sud finally likes being on his belly!  
• I think he began teething.  Sud is constantly chewing on his hands and exploring his world by putting EVERYTHING in his mouth.
• Sud began to eat solid foods. His favorites are sweet potatoes, sqaush and avocado. 
• Sud loves to grab and play with his feet while lying down. 
• Although it's not as much as I would like, Sud began to laugh and giggle.
• Sud is beginning to sit up with some help from mommy and daddy.

Sud loves experimenting and playing with objects. The funny thing is he loves everyday household items over fancy store bought toys.

Latest Toy: Feet

Around 4 1/2 months, Sud realized he didn't just have hands to play with, but feet too! 

                

Cousin Aliyah's 5th Birthday Party

On January 19th, Sud's cousin Aliyah celebrated her 5th birthday party at a gymnastics center. While Sud was too little to play with the big kids, he had a fun time exploring the gymnasium with SUD and myself. We could see Sud's athleticism immediately.  :)
