2nd Month Reflections...

This is what Sud is doing now...
  • He ended the month weighing 12 pounds 6 ounces
  • Surprisingly, Sud is in the 99% for his height. He is now 25 inches long!
  • He began to smile!
  • He began to baby talk and interact!  He has the cutest little voice.
  • Sud's hair is growing back.  :)
  • He ended the month eating around 4 ounces every 2 hours or so during the day. He is a little oinker!  When he is hungry, he makes sure we know.
  • Thankfully, his bedtime is now between 9-9:30pm.  He sleeps between 6-7 hours in the night and will then wake up for one night/early morning feeding.
  • He visually follows people around the room.
  • He is starting to find his hand and eat it.
  • Sud has grown to love his pacifier and now wants it to fall asleep. I hope to change this behavior...wishful thinking.

Time for 2nd month pictures!
He takes a bath every night before bedtime. He LOVES his bath!

He has grown so big! Scroll down below to see how small he was just 2 months ago in his newborn feeding picture with Daddy.

Grandma and Grandpa's House

Unfortunately, our toilet over flowed this month, ruining the floors in both our bedroom and the nursery.  Because it took 2 weeks to repair the floors, SUD, Sud and myself all stayed with my parents in San Pedro. While I was a little hesitant to once again be living with them, it turned out to be a wonderful stay.  Grandpa Jim cooked delicious dinners every single night and Grandma Kathy watched the baby constantly.  It was a wonderful 2 weeks for me to spend time with my parents and also for them to bond with Little Sud. Here are some pictures during this time....

Having fun at Grandma & Grandpa's house with cousins Lindsay and Kendal!

Sud loves his Grandma!

Smiling at Grandma Kathy

This month I have been told that Little Sud looks like his Uncle John.

So much to say!

Sud can now talk and interact with the people around him (beginning around 7 weeks old). These adorable interactions usually begin about 10 minutes after he finishes drinking his bottle. I absolutely love his little voice!  He usually has sooo much to say and can go on for several minutes. :) Check out the video below...he is really on a roll from .30 seconds to 1:30.

Look Who's Smiling

Sud is 6 weeks old today. The last 3 mornings he has given me and my mom a big toothless smile. I can't get enough!
